Basket will be woven on a wood base. Everything is included in the kit. You can order the kit with painted spools (2-pink, 2-blue,2-green, and 2-yellow) or plain so that you can paint in your own color scheme. It also comes with the unique split handle with flower medallions attached to the handle loops.
